Who Do You Need to Reunite With? Reconnecting Is Medicine for Your Spirit!

My heart is overjoyed because after 10 years I have finally entered into the beginning phases of restoring a relationship with my niece. I think it is important that the readers of this blog get to know my heart in order to really understand why I am so passionate about you fulfilling your DESTINY! For this reason, I deem it necessary that I share important Events that are happening in my life to IGNITE A NEW ME! You might be asking why in the world has ten years went by since Kendra has seen her niece? I lost contact with her after she moved to a different location and I went off to college. For years I had a void in my life because I knew that God was displeased with me not being in my nieces life. To make a long story short I found my nieces mom by using Social Media and I was then able to reunite with my niece! So you see Social Media can be used to Glorify God if you use it the right way.

My question for my readers today is, "What family member or friend do you need to be in Right Relationship with?" I can't help but ask a follow up question. "Who are you avoiding in your life that without a doubt should be a part of your life?" These are very difficult questions to answer for many of us, because it opens the door to past hurts and unhealthy memories. However, in order for us to Walk in Our Dynamic Destiny we have to take care of unfinished business. It is amazing how many people profess to Love the Lord God with all their heart, soul, and mind but are still in strife with their friends and family. Just imagine a woman on her knees praying and spending intimate time with her Creator. She feels at peace when she is talking to God and when God is talking back to her. When she ends her time of prayer she receives a phone call. When she looks at her cell phone she sees it is her sister, so instead of answering it she presses Ignore. " I am not up to talking to my sister today she gets on my nerves and the only reason she is calling is because she wants something!" This is a common scenario amongst our society. People of all different religions and walks of life have people in their life that they would rather not deal with. The poison in these situations: Always thinking we are just, without coming to grips with our OWN SHORTCOMINGS. Mark 11:25 (KJV)And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

I know this message will be hard for many to digest. You might say "Well Kendra that is easy for you to say because you don't know my mom, she is such a pain to be around!" This is what I do know, it is impossible to live a life filled with Joy, Peace, and Purpose if we are avoiding and not restoring broken relationships. Even though you might walk around like you are happy and everything is just lovely, there is a void in your soul. Just think about it, I have mentored many young women that did not have their father in their lives. These beautiful girls attempt to fill that void by disrespecting their temple with drugs, unhealthy eating habits, and multiple sex partners just to name a few. What are you filling your void with? Some people are replacing it with fear, doubt, anger, anxiety, low self esteem, lust, food, unhealthy relationships (I could go on and on). My call to action is to really ask yourself are you doing everything in your power to restore those broken relationships? If the answer is no then make up in your mind and heart to be the one to reach out. We know neither today nor tomorrow is promised so do not allow these broken relationships to follow you to the grave. The spirit of Pride wants to make us think we are right and everyone else is wrong. The bottom line is when you make an attempt to reach out to someone that SHOULD be in your LIFE, your spiritual, mental, and physical temple will start to HEAL. That issue you are battling with in your mind and spirit just might disappear once you reach out to embrace the very person you have been avoiding.
